Join us at Erie Community Park this summer for our 2nd annual adapted triathlon event!
What: Free Kids Adapted Triathlon Event
Who: Kids with physical or intellectual disabilities
Where: Erie Community Park (450 Powers Street, Erie, CO). Check in at Garfield Shelter!
When: Sunday, June 29 2025! The event will be held in the morning.
Why: Front Range Adapted Triathlon was created to empower children with intellectual and physical disabilities through the experience of sport. The day will be focused on fun, inclusivity, and community. We aspire to create lasting relationships and develop a vibrant community where children of all abilities are welcomed and celebrated, fostering confidence, camaraderie, and personal growth.

The Course
2 Distance Options
Check in is at the Garfield Shelter at Erie Community Park.
The swim will take place in Erie Community Center Pool. Lifeguards will be present and volunteers will be in the water to provide as much assistance as needed for each child. The pool has a zero entry or chair lift if needed, and life jackets and additional flotation aides will be available if needed.
The bike and run will take place around Erie Community Park.

Event Schedule
Event schedule will be available once registration is open. We will kick things off in the morning with check in at Garfield Shelter at Erie community park. Participants will then be paired with and get to know their athlete buddy who will support them throughout the entire race!
Post-Race Party!
Stay for a post-race party at Garfield Shelter, where there will be food, drinks, and activities for participants and families to enjoy!
